The Retail Operator plays a vital role in our operation by delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring compliance with all procedures, accurately managing cash and inventory, and helping to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. The position combines elements of budtending, dispatch, and delivery driving, offering a versatile and dynamic work experience.
- Deliver superior customer service, providing product knowledge and advice to both in-person and online customers.
- Facilitate order fulfillment, including receiving online orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs), completing all checklists accurately and efficiently.
- Manage cash and inventory in a responsible and compliant manner, reporting any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist management in executing their objectives to ensure smooth operations and optimal customer satisfaction.
- Complete all deliveries safely and timely, following all local laws and company policies.
- Maintain professional phone etiquette while addressing customer inquiries or complaints.
- Maintain a clean and organized storefront and back-of-house areas.
- Strictly adhere to company time-keeping requirements, including clocking in and out for breaks.
- Stay informed about new products, trends, and updates in the cannabis industry.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Prior retail or customer service experience, preferably in the cannabis industry.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and related equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to drive safely and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Adherence to strict compliance with all laws and regulations regarding the handling and sale of marijuana.
- Able to pass a background check and driving record.
All Retail Operators are expected to record at least 8 hours of annual training for all essential functions.
Certifications: Marijuana Worker’s Permit, Valid Driver License
