The Easiest Edible Recipes (With Customizable THC & CBD Dosage)

Making edibles doesn’t have to be complicated. For those of us fortunate enough to be living in states where cannabis has been legalized, the avenues of consumption are endless. Still, even in states where cannabis is easily accessible, many people consider the task of making edibles daunting.

As a budtender, I’ve had several customers ask me for premade cannabutter– butter infused with cannabis, ready to be used in recipes to make cannabis-infused baked goods. While cannabutter is still certainly widely used in the creation of edibles, its premade form is hard to come by. Thankfully, cannabutter is far from the only premade cannabis product that can be easily incorporated into recipes. Keep reading for some INCREDIBLY simple recipes that you can enjoy responsibly!

Baked Brownies

(1) Box of Your Favorite Brownie Mix (+ Required Ingredients on Back of Box)
(1) Fudge Yourself Double Chocolate Chill (50mg)

Prepare brownie batter + preheat oven according to instructions on the box.
Don’t forget to grease the baking dish!
Pour the brownie batter into the baking dish and spread evenly.
Bake the brownies according to the package instructions.
Cut the fudge into thirds, then cut those pieces into thirds, creating 9 separate chunks of fudge.
Take the brownies out of the oven. Don’t wait for them to cool!
To ensure proper dosing, evenly distribute all 9 squares of fudge on top of the brownies.

Dosing Guidelines:

1/9 tray = 5.56mg THC serving

Baked Apple Pie

(1) Frozen Pie Crust
(1) Large Can of Apple Pie Filling
(1) Bottle Dirty Arm Farms Adabinol – Peach Flavor (110mg THC)

Preheat the oven and prep pie crust according to package directions.
Pour the peach adabinol into the apple pie filling and mix well.
Pour the filling mixture into the crust.
Bake pie according to pie crust instructions.
Let the pie cool for a couple of hours to allow the filling to firm up. You can eat it sooner (we know you will anyway); the filling will just be a little runny. 🙂
Enjoy responsibly!

Dosing Guidelines:

⅛ pie = 18.34mg THC serving

Baked Birthday Cake

Combine all ingredients and mix well.
Don’t forget to grease the baking dish!
Pour the cake batter into the baking dish and bake according to instructions on the box of cake mix.
Let the cake cool completely before frosting.
Finish with Funfetti sprinkles.

Dosing Guidelines:

⅛ cake = 18.75mg THC serving

Product Tips

The recipes I’ve chosen to highlight all feature solely THC products, but the same idea can be applied to high-CBD tinctures, syrups, fudges, and more. Fudge Yourself and Magic Drops both make similar products to the ones I’ve listed with added CBD. If you are using cannabis medicinally and know you respond well to a particular CBD: THC ratio, this can be achieved with these recipes as well. The right mix of tinctures and/or edibles can easily help you to customize your ratio and produce the perfect baked goods to get you perfectly baked or comfortably medicated.

Our variety of THC products and CBD tinctures will have you making your own edibles in no time.

NOTE: It is recommended that new consumers of cannabis start off with a 5mg serving of THC until they know how it will affect them. Please keep in mind that edibles generally take at least 45-60 minutes for the effects to fully activate. You can always add more or less of the THC-containing ingredients in these recipes in order to adjust the baked goods’ potencies. Dosages should be adjusted as needed according to the individual consuming the product.
