A short drive from the towns around Worcester
If you live in Shrewsbury, Auburn, Millbury, Grafton, or one of the other towns ringing Worcester, you don't have to go far. Diem Worcester is at 74 Grafton St in the Canal District, next to Kelley Square and right off Exit 18 on I-290.
We have our own parking lot, we're open until 11pm Monday through Saturday, and we have a 4.8★ rating from 3,200+ Google reviews. Below is the route most people take from each town, with rough distances and drive times.
Delivery? We're pickup only
A lot of people search for "dispensary delivery near me." Diem doesn't deliver. We're in-store pickup only, and ordering ahead gets you close: place your order online and it's usually ready within 10–15 minutes.
Getting here, town by town
Distances are measured from each town's center. Drive times are for normal traffic outside rush hour. At 5pm on a weekday, I-290 and Kelley Square can slow down, so give yourself extra time.
Shrewsbury
About 5 miles, roughly 15 minutes outside rush hour. Take Route 9 west over the Lake Quinsigamond bridge into Worcester, where it becomes Belmont Street. Turn onto Shrewsbury Street and follow it past the restaurants down to Washington Square by Union Station. Grafton Street starts there, and we're a short way down it.
If you're closer to the I-290 side of town, the highway works too: take 290 west to Exit 18.
Auburn
About 5 miles, roughly 15 minutes outside rush hour. Auburn might be the easiest drive of all. I-290 starts in Auburn at the Mass Pike and I-395 interchange, so from Auburn Street or the Auburn Mall area on Route 12, you just get on 290 heading east and take Exit 18. You're at our lot a minute or two later.
That same interchange makes Diem an easy stop if you're coming off the Pike from the west.
Millbury
About 6 miles, roughly 15 minutes outside rush hour. From Millbury center, head for Route 146 north, the road that runs past the Shoppes at Blackstone Valley. Route 146 feeds straight into I-290. Take 290 east and get off at Exit 18, near Polar Park.
Grafton
About 7.5 miles, roughly 20 minutes outside rush hour. This one is simple: Route 122 runs from Grafton Common right to our door. Follow Route 122 (Worcester Street, then Grafton Road) northwest out of town. When you cross into Worcester, it becomes Grafton Street. Stay on it through Kelley Square, and we're a short way further toward Union Station, at number 74.
Holden
About 8 miles, roughly 20 minutes outside rush hour. From Holden center, head south toward Worcester and pick up Salisbury Street toward downtown. From there, take Major Taylor Boulevard past the DCU Center and Foster Street to Washington Square, then Grafton Street. It's a city drive rather than a highway one, but it's straightforward.
Leicester
About 7 miles, roughly 20 minutes outside rush hour. Take Route 9 east out of Leicester center, through Cherry Valley and into Worcester on Main Street. Follow Main Street toward downtown, then cut over on Myrtle Street and Franklin Street to Grafton Street.
Smaller villages we see every day
- North Grafton: about 6 miles. Route 140 to Route 122, then straight in on Grafton Street.
- South Grafton: about 10 miles. Route 122A to Route 122 through Grafton center, then Grafton Street.
- West Millbury: about 8.5 miles. Route 146 north to I-290 east, then Exit 18.
- Cherry Valley: about 5 miles. Route 9 east into Worcester on Main Street.
- Rochdale: about 8 miles. North into Leicester, then Route 9 east.
- Boylston: about 8 miles. Route 70 south into Worcester, then Plantation Street and Shrewsbury Street.
- West Boylston: about 8.5 miles. Route 12 south to I-190, then I-290 east to Exit 18.

- Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. You need to be 21 or older. Out-of-state visitors are welcome.

Know the rules
Massachusetts has a few rules that visitors don't always know about:
- No public consumption. That includes parks, sidewalks, and parking lots. Enjoy at a private residence.
- Keep it sealed in the car. Cannabis in a vehicle should be in its original sealed packaging or in the trunk. Never consume in a car, and never drive high.
- It stays in Massachusetts. Taking cannabis across state lines is illegal, even to another legal state.
