Hockey season is back downtown
The Worcester Railers play 36 home games a season at the DCU Center, from October into April. This season's home opener is Saturday, October 17. That's a lot of nights with downtown Worcester full of hockey fans.

How close is Diem to the DCU Center?
About two-thirds of a mile. The DCU Center is at 50 Foster St, and we're on the other side of Union Station, a few blocks from Kelley Square and Polar Park.
Walking
It's roughly a 15-minute walk. Head down Foster Street toward Union Station, then follow Front Street onto Grafton Street. It's a straight, easy route, and you'll pass right by the station.
Driving
It's a few minutes by car: Foster Street to Front Street to Grafton Street. We have a dedicated on-site lot, so you're not circling the block looking for a spot. We're also right off Exit 18 on 290 if you're coming from out of town.
By train or bus
Union Station sits between the DCU Center and Diem. If you're taking the Commuter Rail or a WRTA bus downtown, you're already most of the way to us.
Game-night parking, honestly
The DCU Center doesn't run its own parking. Fans use the garages and lots nearby, like the Mercantile Center Garage and the Major Taylor Boulevard garage, and rates and availability change on busy nights. Give yourself extra time, especially for Saturday games.
Our lot is there while you shop, so stopping at Diem doesn't mean hunting for a second spot downtown.
Before or after the game?
After the game is easiest. Evening puck drops are usually 6:05 or 7:05pm, and we're open until 11pm Monday through Saturday (10pm on Sundays). Swing by on your way home and head out with your order.
Stopping before? Only if you drove. Whatever you buy goes sealed in the trunk and stays there during the game. The DCU Center is a smoke- and vape-free building with a small-bag policy, so nothing from Diem should come into the arena with you.
Before you shop
- Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. You need to be 21 or older. Out-of-state visitors are welcome.
- Order ahead and skip the wait. Browse the Diem Worcester menu, place your order, and it's usually ready within 10–15 minutes.
- Payment: debit, cash, or DutchiePay. We have two ATMs on site.
- Purchase limit: As of April 2026, Massachusetts allows adults 21+ to buy up to two ounces of flower, or the equivalent in other products. Mixing categories? Our budtenders can help you work out what fits.

Know the rules
Massachusetts has a few rules that visitors don't always know about:
- No public consumption. That includes the arena, parking garages, sidewalks, and parks. Enjoy at a private residence.
- Keep it out of the arena. Leave your purchase at home or sealed in your trunk.
- Keep it sealed in the car. Cannabis in a vehicle should be in its original sealed packaging or in the trunk. Never consume in a car, and never drive high.
- It stays in Massachusetts. Taking cannabis across state lines is illegal, even to another legal state.
