Game day in the Canal District
Polar Park is home to the Worcester Red Sox (the WooSox), the Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. On game days the whole Canal District fills up around Kelley Square. The season runs from late March into September, so there are a lot of nights to plan around.
If you're 21+ and want to pick up cannabis on a game day, Diem Worcester is right up the street at 74 Grafton St. It's about half a mile from the ballpark, roughly a 10-minute walk. We're family-owned, with a 4.8★ rating from 3,200+ Google reviews.
Getting between Diem and Polar Park
On foot
From our door, cut over to Harding Street and follow it down to Kelley Square, then take Madison Street to the ballpark at 100 Madison St. It's an easy walk, and a lot quicker than circling for a spot on a game night.
By car
Coming from out of town? We're right off Exit 18 on I-290. We have a dedicated on-site lot for customers while they shop. It isn't game parking, so plan to park at one of the many city lots and garages near the ballpark.
By Commuter Rail
Union Station is a short walk from both Diem and Polar Park. If you're taking the train in, you can skip the car entirely.
Before or after the game?
Our advice: stop in after the game. We're open until 11pm Monday through Saturday and until 10pm on Sunday, so there's usually time after a night game.
Want to make it quick? Browse the Diem Worcester menu and place a pickup order. It's usually ready within 10–15 minutes.
Shopping earlier in the day? Take your purchase home before you head to the game. Polar Park only allows bags 5" x 9" or smaller, and cannabis doesn't belong at the ballpark anyway.
Eat in the Canal District
Part of the fun of a Polar Park game is the neighborhood around it. Green Street and the blocks around Kelley Square are lined with restaurants and bars, and the Worcester Public Market at 160 Green St has food vendors under one roof.

When the season's over
Polar Park doesn't go dark in the off-season. The ballpark hosts concerts, festivals, and seasonal events throughout the year, so check its event calendar before you head out. The WooSox open their next home season on Friday, March 26, 2027.

- Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. You need to be 21 or older. Out-of-state visitors are welcome.
- Order ahead and skip the wait. Browse the Diem Worcester menu, place your order, and it's usually ready within 10–15 minutes.
- Payment: debit, cash, or DutchiePay. There are two ATMs on site.
- Purchase limit: As of April 2026, Massachusetts allows adults 21+ to buy up to two ounces of flower, or the equivalent in other products. Mixing categories? Our budtenders can help you work out what fits.

Know the rules
Massachusetts has a few rules that visitors don't always know about:
- Leave it at home. Smoking and vaping aren't allowed anywhere inside Polar Park, and staff can turn away anyone who appears impaired. Don't bring cannabis to the game.
- No public consumption. That includes the streets, sidewalks, and parking lots around the ballpark. Enjoy at a private residence.
- Keep it sealed in the car. Cannabis in a vehicle should be in its original sealed packaging or in the trunk. Never consume in a car, and never drive high.
- It stays in Massachusetts. Taking cannabis across state lines is illegal, even to another legal state. That goes for fans heading home to Connecticut, Rhode Island, or New York.
