A North Shore dispensary close to home
If you live in Swampscott, Marblehead, Nahant, or Saugus, the closest dispensary might be closer than you think. Diem Lynn is at 211 Lewis St, on Route 1A across from the 7-Eleven, right at the Swampscott line. It sits between the Lynn and Swampscott Commuter Rail stops.

One thing first: pickup only
People search for "dispensary delivery" a lot, so to be clear: Diem doesn't deliver. We're in-store pickup only. The fastest way to shop is to order ahead on the Diem Lynn menu, and your order is usually ready within 10–15 minutes.
Getting to Diem Lynn from nearby towns
Drive times below are estimates for normal traffic, outside rush hour. Route 1A and the Lynnway can back up on weekday afternoons and summer beach days, so give yourself extra time then.
Swampscott
We're about 1 to 2 miles from most of Swampscott, roughly a five-minute drive. From Fisherman's Beach or the Town Hall, take Humphrey Street (Route 129) west along the water and it runs right into Lewis Street. We're just past the town line.
Not driving? The Swampscott Commuter Rail stop is about a mile away, around a 25-minute walk or a quick rideshare. MBTA buses 441 and 442 run along Humphrey Street or Paradise Road and stop on Lewis Street right near the store.
Marblehead
From downtown Marblehead or Crocker Park, it's about 5 to 6 miles, usually 15 to 20 minutes. The scenic way is Atlantic Avenue into Swampscott, then Humphrey Street (Route 129) along the water to Lewis Street. Paradise Road (Route 1A) through Swampscott is the other common route.
Marblehead doesn't have a train station. The 441 and 442 buses start in Marblehead and stop near Diem on Lewis Street, so you can leave the car at home in Old Town.
Nahant
From Nahant, it's about 4 miles, around 10 to 15 minutes. Take Nahant Road back across the causeway, past Nahant Beach and Long Beach, to the rotary. From there, Lynn Shore Drive and Nahant Street bring you up to Broad Street and Lewis Street.

Saugus
From Saugus Center or the Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site, it's about 5 miles, around 15 minutes. The most direct route is Walnut Street east into Lynn, then across town to Broad Street and Lewis Street. Walnut Street also connects to Route 1, so it works if you're coming off the Route 1 strip.
From the south side of town, the Salem Turnpike (Route 107) becomes Western Avenue in Lynn. Both routes land you in downtown Lynn, less than a mile from us.
Revere
From Revere Beach or Wonderland, it's about 5 miles, around 15 minutes. Follow Route 1A north along North Shore Road, over the bridge onto the Lynnway, and stay on 1A (Broad Street) until it becomes Lewis Street.
Taking the T? Ride the Blue Line to Wonderland, then catch the 441 or 442 bus. Both run up the Lynnway through Central Square and stop on Lewis Street near the store.
Peabody
From Peabody Square, it's about 5 miles, around 15 minutes. Head over to Route 107 (Highland Avenue in Salem), which becomes Western Avenue in Lynn, then turn onto Chestnut Street. Chestnut Street is also the easiest way into our lot.
From the Northshore Mall area, figure about 7 miles and 20 minutes heading south through Peabody and Lynn on Lynn Street, Broadway, and Chestnut Street.
Salem
Salem is about 5 to 6 miles away, a straight shot south on Route 1A through Swampscott. It's also a two-stop Commuter Rail ride. Our Salem guide has the full details, including tips for October.
Farther out
We also see plenty of customers from these towns, most of them roughly 8 to 10 miles away, about 20 to 25 minutes outside rush hour:
- Lynnfield and Wakefield: Route 129 through Lynn.
- Melrose and Malden: East through Saugus, then Route 107 into Lynn.
- Danvers: Route 114 through Peabody, then Route 107 into Lynn.
- Chelsea and Winthrop: Route 1A north through Revere.

- Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. You need to be 21 or older. Out-of-state visitors are welcome.
- Order ahead and skip the wait. Browse the Diem Lynn menu, place your order, and it's usually ready within 10–15 minutes.

Know the rules
Massachusetts has a few rules worth knowing, even for locals:
- No public consumption. That includes beaches, parks, the Lynn Shore, and parking lots. Enjoy at a private residence.
- Keep it sealed in the car. Cannabis in a vehicle should be in its original sealed packaging or in the trunk. Never consume in a car, and never drive high.
- It stays in Massachusetts. Taking cannabis across state lines is illegal, even to another legal state. That includes New Hampshire, just up the road.
